"If music be the food of love, play on!" Twelfth Night, Act 1, Scene 1
Broadway's Newest Comedy combines extreme food challenges with Shakespeare.
Hilarious fun for the whole family!
After extensive research we discovered that Shakespeare had a sweet tooth! To try and understand Shakespeare's original intent, our actors put their bodies on the line... eating extreme junk food while attempting to perform a classic Shakespearean play. Hilarity and mayhem ensues - expect famous character impressions, pop culture references and Pop Rocks™! We also love Reese's Pieces™ and Pirates Booty™.
Every show is different depending on what we're eating - we don't know what Shakespeare snacked on while writing Hamlet... maybe it was Doritos™?
The show is performed in a hidden library with over 15,000 real books right in the heart of Broadway. Snacks and drinks available during the show!
THE LOUNGE: 300 West 43rd St at 8th Ave. Level 2
Suitable for all ages, we recommend 12+ or PG-13. Perfect for school field trips and teachers who want to get their kids excited about Shakespeare!
Non-alcoholic drinks and snacks are available to patrons throughout
