Shortly after stage and screen favorite Krysta Rodriguez was diagnosed with breast cancer, the performer found a new creative outlet: writing. With her blog ChemoCouture, Rodriguez shared her journey from diagnosis to treatment to defeating her cancer, all through the lens of maintaining her sense of style and fashion during the difficult process.
Now, on the two-year anniversary of her return to Broadway in Spring Awakening, Rodriguez is being honored by Look Good Feel Better, an organization dedicated to boosting the self-esteem and quality of life for people battling cancer. The actor has been named 'DreamGirl' of the group’s annual benefit gala, the DreamBall.
