Broadway News The Great Comet’s Lulu Fall Releases New Video From The Unpaved Road The Kris Johnson Group Featuring Lulu Fall introduces a recording experience unlike any you’ve heard before.

Lulu Fall, an ensemblist from last season’s Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812, has released an album with her group The Kris Johnson Group Featuring Lulu Fall.

The album, The Unpaved Road, is a concept album that guides listeners on a “melodic journey.”

Tracks cover everything from Fall’s connection to her home country in “Senegal“ to her struggle with outer beauty in “Pretty for a Dark Girl.” A soloist with the Count Basie Orchestra, trumpeter Kris Johnson adds his signature sound and expertise to the music. Drawing on styles such as jazz, soul, and R&B, the ten-piece group released the album August 22.
