A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the free Shakespeare in the Park production from the Public Theater, officially opened July 31 in Central Park. Among the cast are Annaleigh Ashford as Helena, Phylicia Rashad as Titania, Kristine Nielsen as Puck, Danny Burstein as Nick Bottom, Kyle Beltran as Lysander, and Bhavesh Patel as Theseus.

Central Park’s Delacorte Theater is transformed into an enchanted forest for the romantic comedy, which sees young lovers lost in the woods and mistakenly lusting after the wrong people. The limited engagement is scheduled through August 13, with direction by Lear deBessonet and choreography by Chase Brock.
Free tickets are distributed—two per person—at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park beginning at noon on the day of each public performance.
