Off-Broadway News Santino Fontana, Bryce Pinkham, John Cariani and More Tapped for Man of La Mancha Fellow Tony nominees Marc Kudisch and Mary Testa join the trio for the Transport Group concert staging later this month.

A cast of theatre favorites Tony nominees will take the stage for a concert presentation of Man of La Mancha this month.

Tony nominees Santino Fontana (Cinderella, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), John Cariani (Something Rotten!), Bryce Pinkham (A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder), and Marc Kudisch (9 to 5) and are set to star in the Transport Group concert, taking place December 18. Also joining the cast is fellow Tony nominee Mary Testa (The Portuguese Kid), Andrew Samonksy (Scandalous), Jason Danieley (The Visit), and Julia Murney (Wicked).

Man of La Mancha will be staged at the Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Music Center in New York beginning at 8 PM. The concert will be directed by Transport Group Artistic Director Jack Cummings III and will feature original orchestrations.

Rounding out the cast are George Abud (The Band’s Visit), Stanley Bahorek (Amazing Grace), Sherry Boone (Ragtime), Jessica Fontana (Cinderella), Hunter Ryan Herdlicka (A Little Night Music), Tally Sessions (War Paint), Tim Dolan (Once Upon a Mattress), Michael De Souza (Once Upon a Mattress), Stephen Mir (William Inge in Rep), Doug Shapiro (Once Upon a Mattress), Jason SweetTooth Williams (Freaky Friday), and Rowan Vickers (Nat Turner in Jerusalem).

In addition to the concert, the evening will feature a talkback with original Broadway cast members including Mimi Turque, who originated the role of Antonia.

Man of La Mancha is written by Dale Wasserman, and features music by Mitch Leigh and lyrics by Joe Darion. The musical, which debuted on Broadway in 1972, is adapted from Miguel de Cervantes’ classic novel Don Quixote.
