Playwrights Horizons celebrates the official opening of Mankind January 8. The imaginative new satire is the latest work from acclaimed playwright and director Robert O'Hara (Bootycandy, Bella: An American Tall Tale, Barbecue, In the Continuum, The Brother/Sister Plays).
In Mankind, which began performances Off-Broadway December 15, women have been extinct for over 100 years, men can give birth (but abortion is illegal), and the world is under the control of a police state.
