New York Theatre Worshop celebrated the official opening of The Bengsons’ Hundred Days December 4. In the new folk-punk musical, real-life married couple Abigail and Shaun Bengson (Iphigenia in Aulis) detail the story of how they fell in love and embrace life as if they only had 100 days to live.
Hundred Days is directed by Anne Kauffman with movement by Sonya Tayeh; the musical features a book co-written with The Place We Built playwright Sarah Gancher. Previews began November 15.
The Bengsons are joined onstage by Jo Lampert (Joan of Arc: Into the Fire), Colette Alexander (you’ll still call me by name), Dani Markham (tUnE-yArDs), and Reggie D. White (I and You).
