In our continuing series, this week’s Playbill Mixtape features the must-know songs from Broadway musicals of the 1950s. The middle of the 20th Century produced some of the most landmark works of the art form, including West Side Story, Gypsy, The Music Man, and The Sound of Music. Still, we’re betting you may need to brush up on less familiar tunes from Fiorello! (which won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama) or Bells Are Ringing. Here, we narrow down the decade to 25 tunes you should add to your repertoire.

And, as always, be sure you’re following Playbill on Spotify for our complete collection of Playbill Mixtape playlists.
