Performances begin January 11 for the New York premiere of Isobel Mahon’s Party Face starring Oscar winner Hayley Mills (The Parent Trap, Pollyanna, The King and I). A housewarming party spirals hilariously out of control in the Irish playwright’s new comedy about mothers and daughters, secrets, and self-acceptance.
Directed by Amanda Bearse (Married…With Children), the production will officially open January 22 for a limited engagement through April 8 at City Center Stage 2, 131 West 55th Street.
The cast also includes Klea Blackhurst (Goodspeed’s Hello, Dolly!), Gina Costigan (Mint Theater’s The Suitcase Under the Bed), Brenda Meaney (Indian Ink), and Allison Jean White (Roundabout’s Man and Boy).
The production features set design by Jeff Ridenour, lighting design by Joyce Liao, costume designs by Michael Blatzer, sound design by Damien Figueras, and casting by Pat McCorkle, CSA, McCorkle Casting, Ltd. Brierpatch Productions serves as general management.
