Two-time Tony winner Matthew Broderick is set to present the Outstanding Musical Award at the upcoming 13th annual New York Innovative Theater Awards celebrating Off-Off-Broadway theatre. He joins presenters Angel Desai, Charles Busch, David Pittu, Jennifer Van Dyck, and Lane Harwell.

The New York Innovative Theater Awards will be presented September 25 at the Gerald Lynch Theatre located in the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, 524 West 59th Street, New York.

The awards will be live-streamed at NYITawards.com/live.

The ceremony will be written by Brian Silliman with direction by DeLisa White; Jason Kravits hosts. Lighting designer Jen Schriever, sound designer Darron West, composer Adam Gwon, director Allison Benko, and producer Tom Viertel will also present awards.

The 2017 recipients will be awarded from a pool of 176 individual artists, 48 different productions, and 52 different theatre companies.
