Cabaret & Concert News Lillias White Will Croon Baby-Makin’ Music in NYC on Valentine’s Day The Tony-winning star of The Life will spread the love at The Green Room 42.

Lillias White, who won a Tony Award for her performance in the musical The Life, will warm up Valentine’s Day in New York City when she returns to The Green Room 42 with her cabaret show Baby-Makin’ Music. White opened the performance venue exactly one year earlier.

Her other Broadway appearances include Cats, Carrie, Once on This Island, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Chicago, and Fela!. She played Fat Annie on the recent Netflix series The Get Down, and co-stars as Melinda LaCroix (along with fellow Tony winner LaChanze) in the feature film Melinda, scheduled for release later this year.

The Green Room 42 is located inside the Yotel at 42nd Street and Tenth Avenue in Manhattan. Tickets, which cost $35–$75 (no drink/food minimum) can be ordered at TheGreenRoom42.com.
