Tony winner Kristin Chenoweth joined Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest on Live with Kelly and Ryan to chat about celebrating her 20th year as a Broadway performer. During the interview, the stage veteran recalls making her professional debut in the 1997 Roundabout Theatre Company Off-Broadway production of Moliere’s Scapin opposite Bill Irwin.

Chenoweth made her Broadway debut that same year in the musical Steel Pier. Watch part of the interview in the video above.

Chenoweth’s Broadway credits include On the Twentieth Century; Promises, Promises; The Apple Tree; Wicked; and You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. She was last seen on Broadway in 2016 in her musical solo show, My Love Letter to Broadway, an evening of her favorite musical theatre songs woven with personal stories from her life and career.
