Indecent, which played its final performance August 6 following an unexpected summer extension, saw its highest-grossing week of its entire run at the Cort Theatre with $739,171 (just over 80 percent of its potential). This is a boost of over $200,000 from the past week week, and of over $133,000 from its previous record (the week ending June 25). Capacity was also its highest at 96.5 percent.

Meanwhile, with Panic! At the Disco’s Brendon Urie bowing out, Kinky Boots played its highest-grossing week since January 2014, reaching a total of $1,684,263 (nearly 134 percent of its potential). While numbers will likely dip in the coming weeks with Urie’s departure, expect another wave later this year when original stars Billy Porter and Stark Sands return to the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.

The Tony-winning musical was just shy of making the top five shows of the week; usual suspects Hamilton, The Lion King, Hello, Dolly!, Wicked, and Dear Evan Hansen made up the leading slots.
