The Los Angeles premiere of Steve Martin and Edie Brickell’s Broadway musical Bright Star opened October 20 at the Ahmanson Theatre. The engagement marks the official launch of the show’s first national tour, which will play dates in San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Houston, and Dallas.

Carmen Cusack, who earned a Tony nomination for her Broadway debut in the production, reprises her performance in the central role of Alice Murphy.
