Education News Elementary and Middle School Actors Can Now Hear Those Dancing Feet With 42nd Street Young Performers' Edition Tams-Witmark, in association with iTheatrics, has streamlined the classic 1980 musical for schools.

Add another classic musical to the growing roster of shows adapted for young audiences and performers: 42nd Street has now been streamlined into a one-hour musical for elementray and middle schools.

Licensing company Tams-Witmark announced that 42nd Street Young Performers' Edition, developed in association with iTheatrics, is now available for licensing. The Tony-winning 1980 musical—based on the classic '30s movie—tells the story of chorus girl Peggy Sawyer amid the goings-on behind the scenes of a new Broadway musical.
