Regional News Dates Set for St. Louis Muny’s 100th Season, Featuring Jersey Boys, Gypsy, and More The summer 2018 season of seven musicals will launch in June with Jerome Robbins’ Broadway.

The Muny, the nation's largest outdoor theatre, will celebrate its centennial season in St. Louis' Forest Park with a lineup featuring two Tony-winning Best Musicals not previously seen at the venue: Jersey Boys and Jerome Robbins' Broadway.

The St. Louis theatre will also present limited engagements of Gypsy, Annie, The Wiz, Singin’ in the Rain, and Meet Me in St. Louis.

Newly announced performance dates follow: Jerome Robbins’ Broadway (June 11–17, 2018), The Wiz (June 19–25), Singin’ in the Rain (June 27–July 3), Jersey Boys (July 9–16), Annie (July 18–25), Gypsy (July 27–August 2), and Meet Me In St. Louis (August 4–12).

Casting will be announced at a later time. The outdoor venue regularly attracts Broadway favorites; the 2017 roster included Tony nominees Beth Malone, Emily Skinner, Constantine Maroulis, and Christopher Sieber.

“This is an incredible moment in our history to celebrate a 100th season, and I think these titles are a great nod to our history and future,” said Muny President and CEO Denny Reagan in an earlier statement. “I’m excited to share with our audiences the memories and thrills these shows will bring next summer.”

“We wanted to go big for the 100th, and this season is really big,” added Artistic Director and Executive Producer Mike Isaacson. “It promises so many great nights of beauty, power, joy and passion. These seven shows celebrate The Muny’s august past and point us toward our incredible future.”
