Chicago veteran Bianca Marroquín returns to the Broadway production of the Tony-winning revival January 22 at the Ambassador Theatre.

Marroquín once again steps into the role of merry murderess Roxie Hart, succeeding another frequent Chicago presence, Tony nominee Charlotte d'Amboise.
Marroquín first played the role in the Mexico City productionin 2003. She made her English-language debut as Roxie Hart on Broadway that same year and later took Roxie on the road, kicking off the show’s third national tour and earning a 2004 Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Lead Actress.
The current Broadway company of Chicago also includes Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss as Matron Mama Morton, Tom Hewitt as Billy Flynn, Leigh Zimmerman as Velma Kelly, Raymond Bokhour as Amos Hart, and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine.
With a book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb, Chicago is directed by Tony winner Walter Bobbie and choreographed by Tony winner Ann Reinking in the style of Bob Fosse.
Produced by Barry and Fran Weissler, Chicago is the winner of six 1997 Tony Awards, including Best Musical Revival, and the Grammy Award for Best Musical Cast Recording.
The musical is also slated to return to London's West End this year, with Cuba Gooding Jr. as Billy Flynn.
