Deonté L. Warren, who is currently serving as a standby for the Genie in Broadway’s Aladdin, turns from comedy to romance with his late-night solo show Let’s Make It To Love, November 10 at Feinstein’s/54 Below supper club in New York City.

Warren says he is using his Feinstein’s/54 Below solo debut to explore “all he has learned (and some of what he has yet to learn) about love [with] gospel, neo-soul, and some good old-fashioned musical theatre hits.”

He told Playbill, “I chose songs that really speak to the journey I've been on with life and love. I also wanted songs that would explore the common connections we all share. The audience will leave inspired to love on themselves and the people around them a little more!”

Among the songs on his playlist: “Fifty Percent,” “She Used To Be Mine,” and “Let's Make It To Love.”

Major Attaway, who currently stars as Genie, will appear in the concert as a guest performer, along with fellow Aladdin actor Juwan Crawley, plus Kerissa Arrington (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical), Lydia Warr (Ghost, Dreamgirls), and Lauren Turner (Grease).

Warren, who has appeared in national tours of Dreamgirls and Sister Act, will be backed by a band led by Eric Fotre Leach (Come From Away) and including David Cutler on bass, Zachary Eldridge on drums, Owen Broder on reeds, and Vin Landolfi on guitar.

Doors open at 11 PM for the 11:30 PM show. Feinstein’s/54 Below is located at 254 West 54th Street, beneath Studio 54, in Manhattan. Tickets, which cost $20 to $45 (plus a $20 food/drink minimum), can be ordered here. Tickets on the day of performance after 4 PM are available only by calling (646) 476-3551.
